“NOTE
FROM THE AUTHOR”
“Claude
Henry is like no other mouse character in books or on screen. He is
nearly human in his walk through his many adventures. When Claude Henry,
the Iditarod Mouse is finally discovered, I believe he will reach heights
that only his own imagination can foresee... ”
One of the main problems
we often face in the world today is the lack of proper guidelines for
material our children read. Our children are the strongest and most
precious part of our everyday world that we have. We should allow them
to be children before they become adults, and grant them a promise to
fulfill their youthful imaginations and fantasies. They should have
an opportunity to explore and learn the goodness they possess before
they must face this difficult world we live in. My main character and
best friend, Claude Henry, brings to children; Character, Values, Spirituality,
Courage, Imagination and Patriotism with a sense of real freedom.
All the virtues that
are instilled in children should award them an opportunity to explore
their own minds and hearts. They will soon enough have to face an ever-changing
world of hardship that often takes away their very innocence.
I' d like to offer
an invitation for all reader' s to join Claude Henry in all of his adventures,
and enjoy an exciting journey of pride and honor that offers love, humor
and fun-filled excitement for all... ”
"TO PROTECT AND CARE ABOUT OTHERS
IS WHAT CLAUDE HENRY IS ALL ABOUT"
P.S. Now that you'
ve heard from me, please allow me to introduce my best friend, Claude
Henry, the Iditarod mouse. He has a few words he' d like to express
to each of you... ”Take it away little buddy!”

Howdy Friends and Neighbors...
Thank you all for visiting
with me. It's my pleasure to introduce myself to the world as “Claude
Henry, the Iditarod Mouse.”
I think you will find
that my adventures are for everyone and every age from America and across
the shining sea to all parts of the world. To begin with I' m much like
a Mountain Man, but rather, I' m a Mountain Mouse. I wear buckskin trousers
and vest, and I wear a coonskin hat. I carry with me a bow and quiver
of arrows. I also made a very strange-looking bowie knife that I forged
out of an old timber spike I found in the Alaska wilderness. Some of
my critter friends say I have a twinkle in my right eye. My dearest
love, Little Sue, made my buckskins and vest, and my coonskin hat when
it was time to challenge my greatest foe, the evil King Rat.
It was necessary for
me to challenge him to the famous Alaska Iditarod Dog Sled Race to win
the hand of Little Sue. The evil King Rat wanted her for his slave,
but I had every hope of winning this great race from Anchorage to Nome,
Alaska. Little did I realize at the time that this was going to be a
great adventure among many that lay ahead of me. It was after this great
race that the evil King Rat mousenapped Little Sue, and of course, as
you might guess, I had to go to the rescue.
I've had many adventures
since then. I traveled to South Africa in search of the Great White
Elephant who wanted to do away with the mice world, and then in another
adventure I survived being a castaway with a sailor, and this was when
I began talking human. We fought pirates and seagulls, and many other
ocean critters.
My adventures are far
and wide, taking me to the southwestern United States, to Afghanistan,
and to Iraq where I had to help save my author' s son Andrew and his
3rd Stryker Brigade from those pesky Muslim Rats. Even my
son Rusty Bucket has his own coming adventure with the Old Crow who
was a very confused bird in my first adventure. Both Rusty Bucket and
the Old Crow travel into outer space onboard the Space Shuttle. Even
my little daughter, Little Kenai” (Pronounced Keen-eye) named
after the Kenai River in Alaska, joins in our adventures later on. Little
Kenai has the awesome beauty of her mother, Little Sue, and the adventuresome
spirit of her father... that' s me! In the mouse world girl mice are
named after rivers and lakes because of their purity. This and many
more places and adventures I just cannot talk about at this time.
PLEASE! Accept my invitation
to join me and my Fan Club as I strive to become a great successful
animated movie for the enjoyment of all the children around the world.
I want to be a part of your household and be your friend... And please
